At Mestral, we place great importance on language learning from the early years, with students having Spanish, English, Catalan and German lessons since Nursery School. In addition to the multilingual approach of our curriculum, students have the chance to attain world-recognised Cambridge ESOL certifications in English and German certifications from the Goethe Institut. Both Cambridge and Goethe Institut accreditations open doors to international universities worldwide and are a great asset for your child's future career prospects, as speaking different languages is a highly valued skill in our globalised world.
Our school is an official examination centre, and therefore all preparation and exams take place on campus, for the convenience of our families.
Cambridge ESOL
From Primary onwards, our students are prepared for the different Cambridge ESOL certifications as part of the school's English language curriculum with specialised native teachers. Teachers propose specific students to attend the exams at different levels, although all students can register to take these external exams at our centre if they wish.

In addition to having German lessons within the curriculum from the age of 3 and the chance to experience a unique exchange programme in the Montessori Zentrum Angell of Freiburg in Germany in Secondary School, Colegio Mestral students benefit from our school's exclusive collaboration agreement with the Goethe Institut. Pupils are fully prepared for different language levels and have the option to take the Goethe Institut official exams at our school to obtain language certificates that are recognised all over the world.
