Nursery School Options

At our Ibiza Nursery School, the timetable is from 8:50 am to 12:55 pm and from 14:55 pm to 16:45 pm. Considering that families have different schedules and needs, we offer a supervised Early Classroom from 8 to 8:50 am upon request. Activities that take place during this hour are aimed at providing our early years students with fun and entertainment until classes start.

We offer lunch service from 1 to 3 pm with fresh, healthy meals prepared daily in our school kitchen and tailored to allergies and intolerances following individual children's needs.

In our Preschool in Ibiza, our young learners are nurtured and guided by our expert childcare educators, exploring a carefully planned Early Childhood curriculum based on an enriched Spanish national programme that ensures they will be fully prepared to thrive in Primary School and beyond.

Our Early Education Programme

Our Nursery children learn through play and engage in project-based learning. From an early age, they begin exploring manipulative mathematics through everyday situations, learn to recognise letters using the 'ludiletras' methodology, engage in inspiring story sessions in our library, and develop strategic and logical thinking through pedagogical chess. They also participate in introductory German classes once a week, in addition to learning English and Spanish with their teachers. Music, arts and crafts, and physical education (psychomotricity and swimming lessons) are also part of the curriculum. Additionally, emotional education plays a key role in our approach, helping children understand how to self-regulate and build positive relationships with others.

Introducing Technology & Robotics for Future-Ready Skills

To prepare our youngest students for an ever-evolving world, technology is central to our early education programme from the very beginning. We aim to ensure that all preschool children become digital natives, and hence they use iPads in specific subjects and are introduced to robotics and programming with the Bee-Bot from the early years. This robot is an ideal means of demonstrating the initial stages of coding, assisting their understanding of the concept of algorithms and how to use them in simple programmes.

Languages in Preschool

Children develop their motor skills in a purpose-designed psychomotor room for Physical Education. From 4 years old and above, our pre-primary learners have swimming lessons in the nearby municipal sports facilities to ensure they know how to swim from an early age – an essential skill for those living on an island.
